Instalar un certificado SSL manualmente en mi plan de Web Hosting (cPanel) o VPS Hosting

Después de que tu solicitud de certificado se apruebe, puedes descargar el certificado desde el administrador SSL e instalarlo en tu plan de Web Hosting (cPanel).

  1. Si aún no lo has hecho, descarga tu certificado del administrador SSL y guarda el archivo .crt en algún lugar fácil de encontrar.
  2. Ve a tu de GoDaddy.
  3. Selecciona Web Hosting y luego selecciona Administrar para el plan de Web Hosting (cPanel) en el que estás instalando el SSL .
  4. Selecciona Admin de cPanel.
  5. En la sección Seguridad, selecciona SSL/TLS.
  6. En Certificados (CRT), selecciona Generar, ver, cargar o eliminar certificados SSL.
  7. En la sección Cargar un nuevo certificado, selecciona Elegir archivo y navega al archivo .crt que descargaste en el paso 1. Selecciona el archivo y luego selecciona Abrir.
  8. Si lo deseas, escribe una descripción del certificado en el cuadro de texto Descripción.
  9. Selecciona Cargar certificado.
  10. Cuando recibes la confirmación que indica que se ha guardado el certificado, selecciona Regresar.
  11. En la parte inferior de la página Certificados SSL, selecciona Regresar al administrador SSL.
  12. En Instalar y administrar SSL para tu sitio (HTTPS), selecciona Administrar sitios SSL.
  13. En la sección Instalar un sitio web SSL, selecciona Examinar certificados.
  14. Selecciona el certificado que deseas activar y selecciona Usar certificado. Esto llenará de manera automática los campos para el certificado.
  15. En la parte inferior de la página, selecciona Instalar certificado.
  16. Una vez que aparezca el mensaje emergente Se instaló correctamente, selecciona Aceptar.
  1. If you haven't done so already, download your SSL certificate and save the .crt file on your computer.
  2. Access the cPanel for the domain where you want to install your SSL certificate.
  3. Under Security, select SSL/TLS.
  4. Under Certificates (CRT), select Generate, view, upload, or delete SSL certificates.
  5. Under Choose a certificate file (*.crt), select Choose File, select your .crt file and then select Open.
  6. (Optional) Type a description of the certificate in the Description text box (for example, 2025 coolexample.com certificate).
  7. Selecciona Cargar certificado.
  8. When you recieve confirmation that the certificate has been saved, select Go Back.
  9. At to the bottom of the page, select Return to SSL Manager.
  10. Under Install and Manage SSL for your site (HTTPS), select Manage SSL Sites.
  11. Under Install an SSL Website, select Browse Certificates.
  12. Select the certificate that you want to activate and then select Use Certificate. This will auto-fill the text boxes for the certificate.
  13. At the bottom of the page, select Install Certificate.
  14. Selecciona Aceptar .
